This policy explains what personal data Get Valeur collects through getvaleur.com and the Get Valeur browser extension, why, and what your rights are. Get Valeur is operated by Rosalie Riss, Via Palatino 8, 20148 Milan, Italy ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
1. What we collect

We do not collect your eBay password, your eBay account, your browsing history outside the eBay listings you analyse, or payment card details. The extension only runs on eBay websites (ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, ebay.fr and ebay.it) and only analyses a listing when you open it.
2. Public market data
To estimate values, Get Valeur uses publicly available eBay listings and sold results (titles, prices, photos, condition). These describe items, not you. We do not build profiles of eBay buyers or sellers.
3. Who processes the data for us
We use these service providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Vercel (hosting of our service), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (domain and email forwarding), Google (email inbox), Carrd (website).
- OpenAI (image and text analysis): listing photos and titles are sent to compare bags. No personal data about you is sent.
- Apify (collection of public eBay market data).
- Paddle (payments): Paddle is our Merchant of Record. It sells the plans to you and handles payment, invoices, taxes and refunds, under its own privacy notice (paddle.com/legal).
- Brevo (sign-in and account emails) and Tally (feedback forms).
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. How long we keep it
- Beta sign-ups: until the end of the beta, plus 6 months, unless you become a user.
- Access codes and credits: as long as you use Get Valeur, plus 12 months.
- Analysis records: 12 months, then deleted or made anonymous.
- Paid plan and transaction records: as long as your account is open, then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Emails and messages: as long as needed to answer you, at most 24 months.
5. Cookies and data stored in your browser
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. To display its fonts, the website loads them from Google Fonts and cdnfonts.com, which receive your IP address when the page loads. Our hosting providers also keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of a request) for security, for a short period.
The extension stores a few things in your browser only: your access code (so you stay signed in), the last listing you analysed and a short list of your recent analysis requests (so a credit is not charged twice). You can remove them by uninstalling the extension.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy (portability). Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or the authority where you live.
7. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above and, for important changes, tell beta users by email.

These terms apply to getvaleur.com and the Get Valeur browser extension ("Get Valeur"), operated by Rosalie Riss, Via Palatino 8, 20148 Milan, Italy. By using Get Valeur you accept them. Contact: [email protected].
1. What Get Valeur does
Get Valeur estimates the market value of luxury handbags listed on eBay by comparing them with similar items that sold, and with similar items for sale. It shows a verdict (great deal, fair price, overpriced) and a price range.
2. Estimates only, no authentication
- All values are estimates based on public eBay data and automated matching. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Get Valeur does not authenticate items and does not check sellers. A "great deal" verdict says nothing about whether an item is genuine or in the condition described.
- Always check the listing, the seller's history and the return policy before you bid or buy. Your purchase and resale decisions are yours.
- Nothing on Get Valeur is financial or investment advice.
3. Private beta
- During the beta, access is by invitation and personal access code. Codes are for your own use; please don't share them.
- Beta credits are free, valid for the period stated in your invitation, and have no cash value.
- If Get Valeur can't give a value for a listing, no credit is used.
- Features may change, be paused or end at any time during the beta. We will tell you before the beta ends.
4. Paid plans and payment
- New accounts get 3 free analyses. After that, Get Valeur is available through paid plans (Basic, Plus and Pro), billed monthly or yearly, as shown on our Pricing page.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, invoices and taxes are handled by Paddle under Paddle's Buyer Terms, shown at checkout.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time (Get Valeur icon → Change or cancel my plan, or the link in your Paddle receipt); your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Analyses refill every month and unused ones don't carry over. If Get Valeur can't give a value for a listing, no analysis is used.
- You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment: see our Refund Policy.
5. Fair use
You agree not to:
- copy, resell or redistribute Get Valeur's results or data in bulk;
- reverse engineer, scrape or overload the service;
- use Get Valeur in a way that breaks eBay's rules or the law.
We may suspend an access code that is misused.
6. eBay and other brands
Get Valeur is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by eBay. eBay and all brand names mentioned (such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton or Celine) belong to their owners and are used only to describe items.
7. Our content
The Get Valeur name, logo, website and extension belong to us. You may share screenshots of your own results for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Liability
Get Valeur is provided "as is". If you have a paid plan, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses resulting from purchases, sales or other decisions made using its estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we tell beta users about important changes by email. You can stop using Get Valeur at any time by uninstalling the extension and asking us to delete your data.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes go to the courts of Milan, unless consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
Refund Policy

If you're not happy with Get Valeur, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason.

Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, or reply to your Paddle receipt. You can also contact Paddle directly through paddle.net.
Who processes refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles refunds. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
Cancelling a plan
You can cancel at any time (Get Valeur icon → Change or cancel my plan, or the link in your Paddle receipt). Cancelling stops future payments; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
